PastPerfect-Online, powered by MWeb™

MWeb is the engine that is used to provide web catalogs for PastPerfect clients.

PastPerfect Software, Inc. provides web hosting for these catalogs, so you can have an online catalog without acquiring any new hardware. The website is ready to use as it is, but you can customize it with your own logo, messages, and color scheme.

Self-hosting

Our MWeb Universal product allows PastPerfect clients to mount their databases on their own web-servers. This requires two things:

1. Purchase of the the PastPerfect-Online software, which provides a wizard to guide you through the selection of records and fields to publish. You buy this from PastPerfect Software, Inc.
2. MWeb Universal to provide web access on your own server. You buy this from Systems Planning.

MWeb Enterprise XML Server™

The MWeb Enterprise XML Server provides an API to your PastPerfect-Online database on the PastPerfect server. This permits applications you write or purchase to issue requests to the XML Server and receive the responses in XML. A typical use would be to participate in a consortium. Pricing: $6,000 startup fee, plus $1,000/year for license, upgrades, maintenance, and support. Prices may be reduced for projects demonstrating new applications of the XML Server.
